ACT 1: Young Witness

The year is 1984 and a meeting that has been planned for millennia is finally taking place. Hiding terrified in the shadows, ten-year-old Jack Copeland watches the proceedings climax with the horrible demise of his father, burned at the stake by a pack of robed men. On the surface, it appears to be a typical occult sacrifice but writhing underneath is a plan unbeknownst to him or any other mortal, a plan that has darkened the stage for a deception that will scrape the earth’s surface and twist reality forever.

Jack runs from the burning man that was his father into a life fueled by confusion, alcohol, and revenge. He grows into a restless and flawed man. Exceptional at all he does and driven into law enforcement by the unrelenting drive to find his father’s killers, his memory both tortures and sustains him.

Now just over 30 years from the terrible event, Jack has both a failed marriage and a tenuous career as his need to wash away pain with endless amounts of alcohol has begun to take its toll. To top it off, his long-time partner has just been murdered and he wrestles with nightmares of his last moments.

Detective Copeland bears the weight of the world on his shoulders and with his fist wrapped tightly around a bottle, he becomes hyper focused on taking down the crime family he suspects has a direct link to his father’s death. While he pursues the Italian connection, bankers and CEOs of the city’s biggest financial institutions are being murdered at an alarming rate. Jack begins to realize all is not as it seems, but he can’t even begin to guess who he really is.

ACT 2: Mr. Mason Pulls Some Strings.

Leonard Mason is the leader of the West Coasts most powerful law firm, responsible for putting more criminals behind bars than any firm in the history of LA County. As a result, he and his handpicked team of ambitious lawyers are lauded as heroes. Leonard chose his team while they were young and marched them through the intense preparation needed to be an agent of the Illuminati. On the surface, their world is one of women, money, and success, writhing underneath is a life of crime so heinous even the mob sees it as unethical.

Leonard has more than these young lawyers under his thumb. He has also made a deal between LAs biggest organized crime family to take the fall for his crimes. And that’s just the beginning. Mr. Mason and his crooked team of Ivy League Blue Blood One percent appear unfettered in their mission.

Obstacles though do begin to appear. Donna Santina succeeds her father as the Don of the Santina mob and reveals herself to be a fanatical born-again Christian. She wants nothing to do with her family’s criminal past and in fact, begins publicly campaigning for the Mayor’s office. Sensing a threat and willing to do whatever he can to ruin her chances, the Mayor commissions Jack to take her down, something he is all too willing to do.

ACT 3: The Hunt for Reality.

The city’s top bankers are making appearances at the morgue in increasing numbers, the mayor is pushing law enforcement to rid him of the competition, and Jacks short banishment to desk duty after the murder of his partner comes to an abrupt end. He sets out on his mission with a new partner in tow, Trent Riley, a pawn placed strategically by the Mason Group to keep Jack blunted by alcohol and off their tracks.

Mr. Mason has a program that is run 99 percent of the time with flawless perfection but there are exceptions. Billy Fish, a former real estate mogul to the stars and seen by most as crazy, finds a break in the reptilian design just long enough to get a message to Jack, a message that will take him on a path straight towards the awful being his overseers have planned him to partner with, upon a throne in a temple far, far, away from Los Angeles.

Through a spectacular display of intuition and skill, Jack outsmarts the mob, his double-crossing partner, and the Mason Group during an intense standoff in an abandoned warehouse. He saves the mayors children and handcuffs Leonard Mason – the leader of the Mason Group, the head of the Illuminati.

Just as he readies himself to breathe a sigh of relief, white orbs appear, the men around him stand frozen, and he watches as angels emerge and transform from one awful creature to another. His memory is reprogrammed and he begins a new alongside the man he hunted. All seeing. All Powerful. Illuminati.
