What I liked
The references at the beginning of some famous fangs (video of Lestat and shoutouts to Boreanaz for coming to a future show). Some moments were very playful and fun.
What I didn't like
Some of the tech/props were fumbled through and the splatter zone wasn’t totally accurate as to where the blood would land. I also still don’t know how to become a VAMPYRE.
My overall impression
A total camp fest, and in a good way! You could tell that the actors were having fun and the energy was magnetic. I liked how simple the concept was. Overall, a fun performance, but still missing some stronger character work that makes vampire lore so unique to other genres. The parents and the friend felt underdeveloped compared to the comedy gold of the minion tribe.
