What I liked

Wonderful singing and dancing.

What I didn't like

The Justin Baltz character was the most interesting in Swept Away. He had a Woody Guthrie feel to his role, and it would have been interesting to see that developed more.

My overall impression

Was impressed with the high quality of music and dancing in Swept Away, and how it told the story of a struggling writer with a dream, and the woman who goads him and torments his writing at every turn, but in the end, can’t help but fall in love with him. Wonderful original music and vocals by Katherine King.
