The award-winning Absolute Theatre Company has announced that they will present the world premiere of “Piñata” by Scott Mullen at the Lounge, located in the heart of Hollywood Fringe Central on Santa Monica Blvd. Directed by Stan Zimmerman, it will star Tracy Eliott, Starina Johnson, Tracey Rooney, and Patty Jean Robinson. PINATA is about two moms sentenced to the “penalty box” at a child’s birthday party, who clash with a type-A mom who has it in for them. But their tough exteriors ultimately shatter, as they learn what’s really going on inside each other.
Absolute Theatre is the brain child of artistic director Richard Tatum and actor/producer Tracy Eliott.
