What I liked

A multi-ethnic, diverse group of women really brought to light the struggles, both subtle and overt, that women in the Middle East (and in so many other nations) face when seeking to rise above their current circumstances. Great flow and pacing and imaginative way to tell a story through the different characters existing within Joumana’s mind. Brava!

What I didn't like

I wish it was longer! Would have loved more background/developments of the different characters within Joumana’s mind.

My overall impression

A strong piece that is relevant to the divine femine rising worldwide. The voice of the play is clear and speaks to any women who has sought both physical and emotional sovereignty, freedom and respect.
