What I liked
The characters and characterizations she so skillfully brought to life were relatable. Loved how she could be three different people at the same time -
and I always knew who was who, and where they were on stage. Clear information and delightful delivery of it. Authenticity of stories. Unexpected details and information. Actress was totally comfortable in her space and in her storytelling. She was also 100% believable and real. She included the audience, and took us down the roads she’s already traveled as if it was the first time she was traveling them. Loved the use of video as backdrop.
What I didn't like
Just … more! Every vignette is so fantastic to watch – it just makes you want more!
My overall impression
This powerhouse of a woman can take you from guttural laughter to gut wrenching tears in an instant. Her commitment to character, and the prowess with which she brings her characters to life, make it impossible to escape reliving each vignette right along with Jennie. She draws you in from her very first word. Your core experiences what her core experienced.
