As a solo show, it felt like an ensemble piece because the characters were so distinct. The writing is funny but vulnerable. I also loved that Diana was willing to bare her personal moments with friends and strangers and talk about darker subject matter in an uplifting way that comforts the audience’s vulnerability (does that make sense?). Whatever, the point is, it’s fantastic!
What I didn't like
I honestly can’t think of anything. Maybe it was disappointing that the preview wasn’t sold out because it’s THATGOOD.
My overall impression
This piece is powerful, and even despite the uncomfortability of being vulnerable as a human, Diana embraces human flaw, speaks the truth, and creates a hilarious piece in a safe environment.
