Diana is exceptionally talented and skilled at storytelling. She dazzled me with the distinctive and hilarious characters and emotions that run around in her head by the way she presented them. Diana’s ability to let us see her fear, to reveal a difficult and vulnerable experience in her life with creativity, humor and potency shows her writing and character portrayal as ingenious. I watched this story with joy and anticipation, excited to see what came next. I totally enjoyed the journey I was taken on as Diana discovered her courage and power! I've seen Diana's play twice and could see it 100 more times. I LOVE the vulnerability Diana gives to the audience when sharing her story. We feel connected to the piece and to her. This is one of the most honest plays I've ever seen. Being able to articulate emotions associated with trauma is difficult as it is, but to express it in a performance setting is beyond brave.
