What I liked
Humor, heartbreak, physicality, and all the fun. The mentions of all the Filipino foods made me very hungry! There were many, very touching and moving sections.
What I didn't like
For those who don’t know Filipino foods and expressions, perhaps translations? Would also love to see this on a bigger stage so the actress could move about more and have more fun, perhaps with even more characters.
My overall impression
Lovely solo show — Lesley Asistio pulled off heartbreak, humor, and thought-provoking bits — all wrapped up in a talented package of characters (her!).
