What I liked
There’s not a bad performance in the bunch. Every single actor has their character nailed perfectly, just the right set of tones and self-absorption. Loved it.
Most especially enjoyed the later twists of the plot which—even if a little obvious in coming—were super fun to watch as they happened. Which sucks for me, because it made me ENJOY watching a show that’s about ENJOYING watching a show like these—and I hate shows like these. But it’s great for you, the audience, because the show is DAMN FUN.
What I didn't like
There wasn’t much in this show that I would alter, frankly. I think if anything the script could be a tad tighter, just to get us to the ENTIRETY of the cast faster. The hashtag sequence felt a little longer than it truly needed to be to get the point across. But otherwise, I truly enjoyed this show and that’s a real testament to you all.
My overall impression
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SHOW. And I hate after shows. HATE them. I think having a show that’s nothing but overblown fan appreciation stretched out to an hour is the height of wasted space in an hyper-saturated media.
It caught the nature of this type of self-promoting nonsense perfectly and then added real twists and intrigue into the middle of the fluffy irrelevant crap. Beautifully done, beautifully acted, beautiful across the board.
