Fantastic musical-parody taking the mickey out of Comic-Con... not to mention brainless, big budget Film Producers! Surprised this hasn't been done before. Catchy songs. Great group numbers. You could tell the cast were having just as much fun as the audience. ... full review

What a nice little show. Caught this on a whim because it fit into my schedule and I actually knew someone in it (plus I will see almost any musical). I felt for the most part the music served its purpose and moved the story along. The one thing I did hate was the canned music, especially when the pianist is right there playing the rest of the show (this is probably just a personal thing). I might have liked to see a little more mention of real comic characters instead of the fake ones, however my guess is that could bring about some rights issues that no one wants to deal with. Overall, a pretty decent show. Be sure to bring a costume, you might win a prize if you do!... full review

Often times, we talk about how a show speaks to us or how we can relate to it. Comic-Con the Musical was this show for me. I’ve collected comics and toys and have been to Comic-Con many times. As soon as I walked in and heard the Cantina theme (from Star Wars) followed by the Star Trek theme, I knew I was in for a treat. When we meet the cast, I instantly had flashbacks of cons I’ve been to. We’ve all seen these people. The cosplayer, the indie comic creator, the fan fic writer, etc. When Allen Gray (played by Mark Lewis), announces a surprise pitch contest as a plan for a comeback (after 27 movies in a franchise), Jason, indie comic creator of Super Christian Psychic Alcoholic Alien Detective (played by Davis MacLeod Haines), Anna, Vempi... full review

Terrific time at the theater! Thanks Fringe and Comic-Con the Musical! Had the fortune of seeing this gem of a musical during previews. An entertaining evening featuring a superb cast that looks like they are having a ball embodying this unique world of dreamers! That fun-filled energy leaps across to an audience who is transported into the Comic-Con universe all the while enjoying well written stories and songs such as #Hashtag and Douchebag. Numbers that you're still humming once the show is over! Definitely recommend!... full review
