HOLLYWOOD, CA—MARTHA WASHINGTON KILLED A REDCOAT, Corinne Mestemacher’s new comedy, will premiere at the Actor’s Company Other Space for the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017. On December 16, 1773, in the midst of the Boston Tea Party, Martha Washington killed a British soldier and ran to her friends for help. This is the previously unknown (and slightly untrue) story of how the wives of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin banded together to start a Revolution.
