HOLLYWOOD, California – Dirtie Blonde Productions presents the West Coast premier of Girl Band in the Men’s Room, a play by Robert A. Ford, as part of the 2nd Annual Hollywood Fringe Festival this June. Set in a men’s bathroom in 1994, GBMR follows four female musicians on the eve of their big break. A nostalgic yet timely examination of the grunge era, Girl Band examines feminism, the stakes we create in pursuit of our dreams, and the tenuous relationship upon which all bands are built.
A preview performance will be held June 11th at 9:30 pm at Fringe Central. Performances will continue throughout the duration of the Fringe Festival on June 17, 18, 22, 24 and 25th at The Annex at Fringe Central. T...
