I don't have a lot of time but all I want to say is Nate werner is a talent. I don't even know if that's his name because I lost my program but he stood out the entire show. A genuine compassionate storyteller fitting into character like a glove. ... full review

The storyline was very thought-provoking. The characters were believable and the acting so spot-on that the whole scenario really pulls you in. You find yourself truly caring about the feelings of these characters, whether they are right or wrong. I especially liked the way the two storylines intermingled, leaving the audience with a true sense that these stories intertwined, that they were not just separate-but-equal couples going through their own isolated lives. They were all of us and there was something personal to consider in at least one of the characters who would, sometimes uncomfortably, parallel one's own experiences with couple relationships.... full review

I wanted to see the show to increase my understanding of the challenges of 20-something relationships (2 generations behind me). The show DELIVERED. Contemporary and yet timeless. SMART dialogue, complex staging beautifully choreographed, and compelling characters I could watch over and over. That hour went by FAST. Strongly recommend!!... full review

Man, millennials just get it... so smart to market the show honestly. A bunch of recent college grads who are doing their best to write a show about life... that kind of marketing either pulls in the millennial audience, or challenges an older audience to come and see if they can pull it off. Spoiler alert. THEY DO. ... full review

Olivia Cordell's 'This Our Now' is a delicious little allegory for the lies we tell ourselves, and how those lies effect the ones we love. I can't remember a better juxtaposition of such pervasive human themes with such a contemporary, playful sensibility. Often times, theatrical musings on these topics feel cryptic or inaccessible, but This Our Now is dripping with immediacy and intention - with dialogue paced at such a furious clip, you don't even have time to reflect. You're simply right with the characters from the opening scene to the closing moments in a very present, proscenium way that not only leaves you hanging on every word, but also leaves you reflecting on how the themes apply to your own situation. 5/5... full review
