WOW! What an amazing show! Dufflyn Lammers is INCREDIBLE in Discovered. She's an incredible writer, an incredible storyteller, and an incredible actress. I can be a bit of a pessimist when it comes to seeing one-person shows because I've seen my share of bad ones, but this story is so well-conceived, personal, and dynamic that I was gripped and engaged from start to finish. My favorite part of the show is how amazing a storyteller Dufflyn is. The show flowed from childhood to present day so seamlessly and so clear. I'll admit. I was a little skeptical of a one woman show, afraid that it wouldn't be able to keep my attention for a full hour plus. But when the lights went out for the final blackout, I didn't want it to be over! Dufflyn is so high energy and so engaging in telling her story, and she's not afraid to laugh at herself, which gave me the freedom to laugh at her also. ... full review
