Smoke is scary and sexy and totally engrossing. A two handler beautifully directed by Lisa James and acted within an inch of its life by Emily James and Patrick Stafford. A riff on Miss Julie that tears itself apart at the seams as the two characters play out their fantasies. This is theatre at its best and should not be missed.... full review

A dark, disturbing, compelling, powerful, and rather cynical, view of the world of relationships as experienced by today's youth. A group of individuals that has grown up during the explosion of information provided by technology (smart phones, the internet, etc.) somehow appears more overwhelmed, and lost, than previous generations. They cynically have "all the answers" about subjects like kinky sex, but appear completely out of touch with the more important questions about relationships and intimacy. Emily James and Patrick Stafford are terrific actors! They shine! In their capable hands, we never lose sight of the humanity of their characters, in spite of their jadedness. We find ourselves rooting for them, hoping they'll find happiness!... full review
