What I liked

As a gay bear and a recent transplant to L.A., I could definitely identify with many aspects of this show. Having dealt with addiction issues in my past, sex and otherwise, I felt there was a lot of content that spoke to me. For the most part, I found it to be a very interesting and telling play, with a lot of elements of vulnerability for which I am very familiar.

What I didn't like

My biggest issue with the play was the improv element. It took me out of the story to the point where it was hard to come back into the narrative. Granted, the actors pulled it off very well, it just seemed to interrupt the rest of the trajectory of the story.

My overall impression

Again, I identified with the narrative quite a bit, so I found it to be a nice piece of theatre.
