What I liked

The physicality of the show mixed with the VR gives you a strong sense of the emotions and inner psyche of the characters. I liked how the VR was used as a sort of prelude between scenes to bring us deeper into the world.

What I didn't like

I hope there’s a way to fix the loading issue on the video because I’d love to see this show fully through how it was intended. It was breathtaking with it’s issues and I’m sure it would be even better without them.

My overall impression

Maybe this was just right up my alley (I’m really into out of the box theatre with strong physicality) but I just loved this show!! Let’s be clear, the VR technology that is part of the show did not completely work, after the first clip the video just spent most of the time loading. But the performances and the directing were so strong that I didn’t really care. Technology issues aside this is a breathtaking and compelling show. One to see for sure if you want something a little different!!

Sex Rated G by Lisa Verlo

Sex Rated G is a personal trip across Hollywood’s unsettling salacious landscape. A sexual resume told with such candor that in the end SEX will no longer be a four-letter word.
