What I liked

Such a fun and entertaining concept! The performance took a captivatingly sassy tone right off the bat with Fashion Goddess, and wound its way through some very honest and relatable anecdotes (What Was I Thinking?!, Dressing Room Breakdown). I enjoyed Brenda’s playfulness with the audience and her sporadic interaction with Mr. Bass… and I loved all the clever songs!

What I didn't like

At times it was difficult to catch all the lyrics, especially in the higher intensity songs. This wasn’t a major issue, but the lyrics were so good I didn’t want to miss any!

My overall impression

Gutsy, genuine and genius! A wonderful narrative of personal confessions, fashion history, and hilariously relatable songs like “Dressing Room Breakdown!” Every dress has a personality, but Brenda strips that all away and shows her true self – by way of some wonderfully witty lyrics! Highly recommend this honest, entertaining and truly FUN piece!
