What I liked

There are three very specific things I liked about this show. One, that it took a very famous story and retold it from the unique perspective of a blindfolded woman. When examined from her viewpoint, the plot becomes so much more interesting and complex. Secondly, I loved the fact that that all of the characters were played by a single artist. This allowed me to focus one person the whole time – it made each moment more intense because my attention was not fragmented from one actor to another actor at any point in time. Thirdly, I loved the fact that this play is in Hindi. It’s beautifully written, and the dialogues would have lost some of their beauty had they been translated.

What I didn't like

I wish it was a bit longer. An hour seemed short, but I guess that’s only because I found it so engaging that I couldn’t believe a whole hour had gone by.

My overall impression

This is a beautifully written play, which is very nicely acted out by Aishveryaa Nidhi. A must for anyone who is looking for a treat!
