BAE Theatre Brings Mindy Kaling’s “Matt & Ben” to 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival
LOSANGELES May 2, 2016—There’s more to friendship than Good Will. The surprise hit at 2002’s New York International Fringe Festival, BAE Theatre is proud to present Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers’ comedy “Matt & Ben” to LA audiences this May.
Isabella Petrini and Celia Mandela star as famous best friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck – before they were famous. When a mysterious script titled “Good Will Hunting” drops down from the heavens into the middle of Ben’s bachelor pad, they are forced to face the future of their careers—and their friendship—under circumstances beyond their wildest imaginations.
“This is a wonderful play about friendship, and the joys and challenges that go along with working with your best friends. And it had me literally laughing out loud,” says producer, Emily Keaney.
