The award-winning theatre company, Cowboys & Indians, proudly presents its second production entitled “MAIZY: A FABLE”.
Maizy is the story of an ambitious country fairy who comes to Hollywood with nothing but her wings, a suitcase, and the dream of making it big. Will her desire to spread her wings send her to the moon or land her among fallen stars?
Written by Ben Lewis and directed by Alexis Bloom, this 45 minute satire uses bold theatricality to create an enchanting and humorous tale. Starring Julie Civiello as ‘Maizy’, Raina Lafond as ‘Tinkerbell’, Felicity Doyle as ‘Shankly’, with Jessica Lauren Richmond and Heather Rush as multiple character roles.
Last year, Cowboys & Indians enjoyed success with “The Wolf Girls”. Premiering at the Hollywood Fringe, it was nominated for 3 awards, winning the ‘Bitter Lemon’s Most Outrageous Award for Theater’. Wolf Girls was then invited to be part of the ‘Best of the Fringe’ extension at Theatre Asylum.
