What I liked
Given the content, I didn’t expect to laugh as much as I did in the show… Heartwrenching, funny, poignant. A wonderful cast, with Denise Carole as the standout… she had me crying three different times in the show. A lovely and unexpected work, kudos to Robert Rossi for the writing and direction!
What I didn't like
Dying to see the show completed. The ending in place left things seeming far too abruptly done, and I’d like to see what the show could bring in a second act.
My overall impression
Compelling and well-thought material that should provoke conversation from folks on either side of the LGBTQ discussion. Will be going back, and bringing friends to another performance!
