What I liked
An uproarious and unflinching tribute to a classic theatrical character! Plus, the live music and Foley perfectly amplifies the performances, and incredible stunt work, happening on stage!
What I didn't like
Audiences not familiar with the classic, SATIRICAL character of Punch, need to remember that he is a SATIRICAL character. Please, leave the P.C. bias at the door; lighten up, and try to laugh a little more! It’s meant to be shocking…shockingly funny!
My overall impression
Punch and Judy, is the antithesis of Sunday Matinee theater, and I couldn’t be happier for it!
