The witty and irreverent writing delights and the actors delivered memorable performances. That naughty priest is unforgettable! I laughed harder watching this play than any other I've attended. Well done cast and crew of Sweet Adieu! ...

What an amazing show. The cast delivered brilliant performances across the board. I laughed, hard. The priest, omg he was hilarious. The Romeo was fantastic. The script is beautifully written and the cast really delivered. The brunette-actress was awesome, she threw off great attitude. And the blond-actress who ripped on the playwright, she was fantastic, that part in particular was very funny. The cross-dresser was fantastic, showing his progression into enjoying his "role" and disguise. The sword-fight scene was funny and well executed. Bravo! All the way around. Bravo!...

Romeo and Juliet
With Ryan J-W Smith’s newest play “Sweet Love Adieu” receiving its world premier at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, a new genre has evolved: The Tastelessly Tasteful Parody Comedy. What is crystal clear is that Smith, Artistic Director of his own Rogue Shakespeare Company, simply adores the Great Bard’s classics. One can easily imagine Smith beginning his day brushing his teeth with Shakespeare, combing Shakespeare through his hair, eating a bowl of Shakespeare, writing Shakespeare-style plays, eating Shakespeare for dinner and, finally, heading to bed and covering himself with Shakespeare.
With “Sweet Love”, Smith goes far out on the fringe as he sets his alchemical talents to the task of transforming elements of Shakespeare’s belove...

Sweet Love Adieu is simply delightful. It's one of the funniest stage plays I've seen. Ryan Smith, Jason Linforth and Katey Zouck were spectacular as the leads. This play was well-rehearsed and tight. The rest of the cast were phenomenal....

The best show we have been to at the Fringe, and is sure to be a winner in whatever categories it is entered in. I highly recommend it, just wonderful!...

He's done it again, kids. Ryan JW Smith plates out another wordtastic dish for the educated masses and hits the mark once more. Having seen three of Smith's shows now, the thing that's wonderfully clear is not how skilled and talented he is (I figured that one out last year), it's how talented his casts are! The use of language, asides and TIMING are always on point and make the shows fly by wonderfully. He's a Renaissance Man, I am once again annoyed by his great talent, and of the fantastic work ACROSS THE BOARD of his incredible cast...... who I fully intend to steal at some point..... heads up, Ryan. ;) GO SEE THIS!!!...
