What I liked
This was a very vulnerable story told in an empowering way that is also very charming. Many people of all walks of life can relate to this story in some way.
What I didn't like
At the beginning, I thought, “what makes this story different from any other actor’s journey in this industry?” But then, it became very unique and apparent around the middle.
My overall impression
This was a lovely show with great, catchy music, and Theresa Stroll is so damn charming and effervescent on stage. The space was also very well-used. The real breaking out of the box musical moment is so fantastic. I appreciate not just the honesty about the show, but also the irreverence. This is a great time!
