A wonderful one person show, allowing the audience to take their own personal journey through the performer's own experiences. Commodore is a perfect asset, creating a comfortable atmosphere where the audience lowers their guard and truly is present and listening....

A fantastic meditation on what it means to deny being yourself and how to find the way back to what you truly are. Drew Vandiver is not only an amazing writer and performer, but has had some incredible experiences, and I relate to so much of what he's done and been through that I was personally very affected - I feel we all will be: this isn't a story of someone finding themselves as an artist, it's the story of us finding and not being afraid of our selves. ...

I laughed, cried, felt like I was in the most well constructed therapy session of my life, I wanted to meditate, I wanted to participate in the conversation, I wanted to reach out and hug him.

I found that my usual unfocused eyes were completely affixed on him. I couldn't stop feeling like I was the only person in the room and we were just having a chat...

Drew Sandiver delivers the goods here. He has a very strong stage presence and the story he has to deliver is smartly constructed. His message really resonated with me personally- glad I took the time. ...

I went into the show not knowing what to expect. A man and his dog shared a story I found humorous, sad, inspiring, and entertaining. A brave soul and his canine muse guided us through the hills and valleys of his life, leading us to fascinating and thought-provoking life lessons he learned along the way. ...
