My overall impression
Hunt specializes in cringe comedy that features sympathetic losers who are so well-written, you sometimes forget to cringe. As a playwright and an actor, he understands that anyone can lose their way while some people never even get to find theirs in the first place. He’s crafted an honest, complex and very funny look at one weekend in the life of a completely adrift man-child (who just wants to be a good friend to all the people he inadvertently terrorizes) without ever once being mean to any of the characters in his show. No small feat. Highly recommended.
