Great show and a stellar cast led by a powerhouse performance from Evan Garcia as Hamlet.
The 1940’s gangster setting worked perfectly and the adaptation and solid direction of Rachel Lynn Walker made the 90 minute show fly by.
The cast was uniformly good with standout performances from Sergio Venegas, Ryan Jones and Joy Ann-Marie Horn.
Everything worked for me.
You just never know what you’re going to get with the works of Shakespeare, but this take on Hamlet turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.
