The show strikes a great balance between funny, memorable moments and dramatic, poignant scenes. The acting is so real and raw, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can relate so much to Kerry Nash’s character, a stressed out producer balancing work and life with her husband. I have broken down like her character has so that moment really stuck with me. The actors monologues moved me to tears. Brilliant.
What I didn't like
I wasn’t prepared for the intense emotional journey but that’s my fault – not theirs!
My overall impression
A beautiful, heartbreaking look into what happens when people let their guard down and show how vulnerable we are. At the end, we all just want to be loved – by our partners, by our parents, by each other. It’s amazing what this three person cast does with just a stage and a few props but then again, that’s what makes Fringe shows incredible, especially this one.
