All in all, I highly recommend this show to theatre-goers here in L.A.! Being from NYC, I can say that, It's rare to see such a new and original piece of theatre done so well out here. I summed it up above... I will repeat, great performances by all three actors. Interesting use of the space, including how flashbacks were handled. The story went from very funny to very serious at times, so basically what I'm saying is that it had ups and downs (ha, ha ha)! ... full review

The collaborative nature of the writing of the piece really paid off, delivering a heartbreaking but satisfying look at the lives of three people you feel like you just might know in real life. Really fantastic character work from everyone involved.... full review

Up Down Stuck Stick - the claustrophobia of being stuck in a small space with people you don't know is probably a very intense fear for many people. Up Down Stuck Stick takes this confinements to new heights with playful moves involving bodily fluids to dreams about flying. 3 people are stuck in an elevator but the audience is taken on a ride of personal emotions and experiences. Strong acting and engaging characters. A creative use of space in an intimate theater setting. Check this show out!... full review

Man, it must be tough to take something that's literally in a box and make it interesting but it was well achieved! As they say, I laughed and I cried. The actors were fantastic, very moving performances. Worth squeezing into your fringe schedule!!... full review

A slice of life of what it would be like trapped in an elevator for an extended amount of time. I think the actors did a good job of working together through the range of emotions that they were going through. ... full review
