Producer Stepy Kamei is thrilled to announce that the all-female improv troupe “The Human Test Subjects” has received an Encore Producers’ Award and will have one extension performance! The encore performance will take place on Sunday, July 31st at 7pm at the Three Clubs.

Our aim is to use comedy to help reduce the stigma which pervades many peoples’ perceptions of mental illness. Many members of this troupe have been directly impacted by a mental health diagnosis, yet are able to bravely fight these illnesses and contribute back to society through the arts.

8 incredibly talented women have come together to self-direct an entertaining improv show with a special quirk: Each performer has lived experience with mental illness, and copes through performing comedy and improv. These women are ready to share their insights and talents with the world by finding the humor in this common health issue.

No two shows will be alike, and there will be plenty of audience participation – so grab a drink and settle in to watch an entire show come to life before your eyes!

Performances will be held at the Three Clubs lounge @ 1123 N Vine St. All tickets are $10 except preview.
