What I liked
Loved the original live music. The trumpet player was a great feature and the overall style fit the show perfect. Great use of space. Fun energy and great singing.
What I didn't like
Accents and fast talking can sometimes make it difficult to understand some dialogue. While it didn’t impact my ability to understand the overall plot I feel like I missed some witty banter.
My overall impression
It’s a fast talking detective drama with upbeat musical numbers, belting ballads and a murder mystery just waiting to be solved. Broadway Noir is exactly what it sounds like and it doesn’t disappoint.
