I gave this production an “amazing” rating, because this show features important stories and artists, and I walked away feeling as if I had a better understanding of people whose lives were very different from mine--and that’s what theater is about. The show was packed when I went, so I recommend getting tickets and getting in line early.... full review

Though the writers are speaking from a deeply personal, specific outlook, I found the themes of fighting for respect, dignity, and equality to be universally relatable, no matter your gender or ethnicity. I cannot recommend this play highly enough, and I applaud Tasha and Ebony for creating a truly captivating show that made me laugh, think, and feel from lights up to lights down. ... full review
