My overall impression
As a long time fan of Ms. Chaffee’s work, I was delighted yet again by her most recent play “Your Mother’s Vagina”. It is as funny as it is poignant. Her dialogue is unflinching it it’s honesty and her wit strikes with lightning speed and accuracy.
Ms. Chaffee and her cast (Ms. Hirshorn and Ms. Gudenrath), have created characters who are deeply human and relatable. They have genuine chemistry which only further enhances the humor and intimacy of the play.
Under Ms. Chaffee’s skilled direction, the pacing of “Your Mother’s Vagina” compliments the circumstances and emotional journeys of the characters on stage.
Bravo to the writer/director, cast and crew. Thank you for a wonderful trip to the theatre.
