What I liked

I liked everything! From the amazingly well-written script to the hilarious actors, this was such a fun and worthwhile play! The writing is really great. The fact that a modern, Generation-Y writer can use the writing style of Moliere and do it well (meaning it’s easy to understand for people even if they don’t know Moliere!) never ceases to amaze me. The actors delivered their lines so well, I just got so comfortable with the speech and kind of forgot that it was all in rhyming couplets! The costumes and props were hilarious…I’m not going to give it away because seeing them come out in some of those outfits was part of the fun. What I absolutely love about this play was that it challenges the hypocritical nature of organized religion but does not resort to hate or judgement to get the point across. In fact, we left with a positive view on humans and the meaning of life. It’s very important to challenge what you are told and test it against your own knowledge and your own experience. TITS! Thanksgiving Is a Tradition of Sin definitely assists you on that journey, while making you laugh your butt off along the way!

What I didn't like

There was not much I didn’t like. It was very enjoyable! I think because it was the opening/preview night the lighting was a bit off (a key character wasn’t lit for a while) but it didn’t ruin anything. Just distracted us a bit.

My overall impression

Everyone needs to see TITS! Seriously, more people need to see this show because I believe it will help them…once they get past the amazing humor! We need to evolve past fear and judgement and focus on doing good whether a God tells us to or not.
