What I liked

The effortless comedic talent from all of the performers. Subtle when needed, incredibly over the top when needed, all around strong choices and incredible committment to said choices. Always a joy to watch actors love what they do.

What I didn't like

The scene changes were a bit clunky, and a bit long. But it being a preview, i honestly feel like the show will get tighter and keep the pace driving as naturally as the script calls for. (Plus if sitting and listening to awesome music while waiting for the next awesome scene is the worst thing.. i feel like they’re doing pretty okay.)

My overall impression

I was incredibly excited for this show, and i’m so hapoy i got to see it. Definitely go if you like funny, and you like fighting. Or reading. Or watching plays. Really just go see it is what i’m saying. The show is very well done. You can see the director’s deft touch and the actor’s fully realized choices melding into a baby of comedic deliciousness on stage right before your eyes, and the script is brilliantly adapted from serial to full length without losing the cliffhangers or the tension. The sheer amount of fight choreography in this show, and the beautiful execution of some of the gags makes it a joy to watch. 10 points to you if you can figure out how it’s done. ;)
