There was a time when I went to Sacred Fools' Serial Killers on a pretty constant basis. Part of what I loved about the idea was this ongoing cliff-hanger show narrative nature. So when I heard that one of the winners from that ongoing scenario had be reworked into a full-length show and was going to be at Fringe, I was excited. A chance to see what one of these became when turned into a continuous play? Great idea...maybe. Yep, great idea. My first instinct was absolutely correct! An assassin comedy with charming, dry, dark humor and extremely talented actors. Every one of them, serious comedic chops. Really, that's no surprise, considering the previous work that I've seen most of, if not all, these actors in. Each character has a very unique, quirky personality is fully flushed out and advances the story forward with nearly every line. The fight sequences are fun, but for me, there's just a couple too many. The knife throws were awesome the first three times for me... I just have a thing with sticking to three. There are some clever twists and turns. But my favorite scene... when the acid and gas masks come on. So... obviously.... a great first date. Go see it, you'll have a great time.... full review
