WHAILFAIL is ambitious: it’s topical and timely, but not preachy. Kudos to the writing and acting for that! Sherry Berg really drives this show: she’s smart, funny, caustic, angry, and heartbroken, but mostly: captivating on stage. Really – the whole cast: a slimy corporate evil doer, a ponytail and an awkward boyfriend are solid performers, as well.
What I didn't like
The romance was not essential, as others have pointed out. These two characters had enough reason to come together – in grief, as a support system and as change agents, that kissing seemed sort of contrived.
