What I liked
I don’t even know where to begin! The show was absolutely incredible. I went into this not knowing much about the performance, but I was game for the brief synopsis behind it. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, made me laugh, and even had me shed a tear here and there. There was always something happening; never any dead space which I absolutely loved. The adrenaline and passion of the cast really kept me invested the entire time. There was a great mixture of drama and intensity (really, during each scene change I kept saying “this is intense”.) and of course some comic relief when necessary. The story line was well put together and it helped the events unfold in a reversed, yet easy to follow timeline.
What I didn't like
As any preview performance, there will always be minor kinks to work out but that’s what a preview is for! It’s hard to say I didn’t like anything because I truly enjoyed the whole performance! As far as technicality, there were minor slip ups with the sound but that happens and can easily be fixed. Didn’t ruin my experience or make it any less of an amazing performance.
My overall impression
I was thoroughly impressed by the amount of talent within the cast and crew who helped put the show together. From the acting, to the costumes, to the minimal set pieces – they all played such an important part within the performance. I can’t wait for the show to open this weekend and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did!
