UTERINEAFFAIRS tells the journey of Mary Joan Holy, who affirms to be pregnant while still a virgin. Her Freudian gynecologist sets her on a never ending trip to various irrational places, on an unfruitful pursuit to terminate her gestation. Will she be guillotined?
In the tradition of the Theatre of the Absurd (Ionesco, Beckett), this subversive comedy explores the status of women in the society as they deal with personal issues in a man’s world. Through sexual, religious, and historical references, the play, in its own irrational world, tackles controversial topics in a hilarious way.
