What I liked

I don’t want to give away anything, but the first image of the show is just incredible—beautifully directed and gets you interested right away. In general, though the lighting in the room seems limited, I was incredibly impressed with the variations of lighting, which really flavored each moment. This is due to the direction of Terrie Silverman. Then there’s Nancy Murphy, the solo artist, who is a pleasure to watch. She is personable, and when she is awkward she is even more endearing and compelling. I liked how she used both humor and poignancy to describe her experience, and was not afraid of serious, deeper moments when so many pieces only skirt the surface.

My overall impression

A lovely piece, well directed and well presented, thoughtful and charming.
