Self-described nerd Ruby is frustrated with her love life until she meets her sexy, sassy fairy godmother and takes a trip back in time to the free-wheeling early “Brady Bunch”-era 1970s. Will she find true love, or just a lot of sex? Will she find out life was better on this side of the rainbow after all?
Filled with singing, dancing, fun characters, crazy costumes, ridiculously infectious musical numbers, animation and even puppets, “Ruby” tips an affectionate stiletto heel to early 70s variety specials, kiddie shows and the “naughty fairy tales for adults” film genre.
