What I liked

I really liked the projected visual of the ever increasing monetary amount in the background – that was an interesting and very affective effect. I thought the performance was very good. I know a little about Scientology so I was able to follow along but you were also pretty good about making it easy for anyone to understand. I’m very happy to learn that you’re taking the show on the road – I do think it will be invaluable to many – as well as entertaining. Break a leg!

What I didn't like

I thought it was a little too long. It might not feel too long if the set changes a little – just for some variety, but that was just my first impression, though I have absolutely no idea what you could cut because it was a pretty all encompassing story and yet you probably had to shorten it quite a bit since it did include many years worth of material.

My overall impression

I’ve been interested in this subject for a while, and in the people who have gotten involved and also gotten out, so this play was right up my alley and I was really excited to see it and I was definitely not disappointed. I loved the performance. What a really beautiful and talented woman, a good story teller and also included some song and dance – definitely a talented artist. I did find it a little sad, even teared up when she was telling about saying goodbye to her dad, but overall I found the message hopeful. And as some other reviewers have mentioned, I’d highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in joining this cult or any other, but specifically Scientology. I’d definitely see this one again and just might if it fits into my Fringe schedule. Well done!
