‘Cold Tangerines: the play’ is a festival hit

It turns out that “Cold Tangerines: the play “is not quite a new play. In fact it was born as an idea five years ago when Lynn Downey Braswell first began reading a collection of essays by Shauna Niequist’s collection of essays entitled “Cold Tangerines.” Lynn Downey Braswell almost instantly saw a stage play in those writings and she was thrilled when she was able to secure the permission of Shauna Niequist to go forward with the project, Then in 2014 the show premiered at the Freemont Theatre in Pasadena. “Cold Tangerines: the play” was a huge hit and was extended. Eventually it went on tour and while limited to small venues all in Southern California it has nevertheless enjoyed enthusiastic audience response wherever presented. Now it is at the Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, California wowing audiences as part of the 2016 Fringe Festival.
