What I liked

Solid acting. Good emotional beats. Strong sense of mystery.

What I didn't like

Could be edited a little tighter. Some plot points left unresolved.

My overall impression

What an interesting little pocket of the world to be dropped into, like a Spielberg or J.J. Abrams sleepy town with some downright odd behavior lurking under the surface. All of the actors are more than capable, and solid relationships between all of them are established. I won’t go into the plot, but suffice to say there is more to it than what appears. Unfortunately, there is one character that is introduced, where we are given hints and clues to their true nature, but is ultimately left unresolved. In that way, it felt more like the first chapter of a much larger story, but that says something about the writing if you want to find out more. Some of the monologues go on for a while, and could probably be pruned, but ultimately you’re getting your money’s worth by checking out this show. Shame it had such a short run.
