I hate dark comedies. So for me to say I loved this play is a big deal. The acting is first rate – two powerhouse performances from actors accustomed to winning Hollywood Fringe Festival awards. This year will be no different. The writing is also superb. Ben Moroski is a tremendously talented playwright. Do yourself a favor. See this play now before you have to pay a lot more to see one of Ben’s works on Broadway.
What I didn't like
The pacing was a little frenetic due to the show being a preview. I’m excited to see how the pace evolves over its Fringe run.
My overall impression
I loved this play. It’s a grab-you-by-the-lapels, shake, repeat experience. Intense drama expertly balanced with spot on humor.
