What I liked

Thirteen’s Spring is one of the finest perspectives on an overlooked piece of the Anne Frank story. The whole production team brought to life the reality that Anne was frankly (I’m sorry) just a normal girl. Nora King plays the lead and beautifully captures a complex and rapidly dynamic range of emotions. Her monologue at the end of the production was intense and left us feeling afraid of what we all know comes next in the story. The entire cast set the perfect mood for the piece and orchestrated a few very well choreographed small movements that were often subtle but added a nice garnish of complexity to the production.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

This was absolutely my favorite production of the fringe. The cast, the story, the dark themes – all fantastic. For anyone wanting to experience again that shudder they felt when they first learned about the Holocaust, you must see this show.
