What I liked

The movement- it captures what the words cant in a show about words, communication, and the difficulty of saying the truth. The joy and energetic youth of the show masks the obvious tragedy, therefore making it even more heartbreaking. Its funny. I found myself laughing more then I thought I would. I found myself in a roller coaster of emotions. Tanner Paul, Michael Bates, and Elena Sanz, the supporting actors, had each played a role doing there best to keep Anne Frank free for as long as they could. And Nora King did exactly that. She free’d Anne Frank for us. With that kind of cast working together, nothing can go wrong. I liked how the set even told the story. Simple, Powerful.

What I didn't like

I have nothing to say here.

My overall impression

Thirteen’s Spring isn’t a show you forget about. Its days later and I catch myself recalling text I remember, thinking about the massive scale of language there is in the physical along with poetic aspects of the show. From the first few moments, Thirteen’s Spring introduces itself with sophistication and specificity and before we know it, at the end, we find for such a familiar hero around the world. There is still more story to tell. That is why it is a must see. The acting is beautiful and specific, while the story is orchestrated with a powerful simplicity.
