This is a MUSTSEE!! It is completely relatable by any audience! I went with my mom, brother, boyfriend, and sister-in-law and although we each struggle with different issues, we all enjoyed it and learned from it the same. I thought, wow, if my little diverse family can each learn from this, then I know the entire audience did.
This play honestly changed my perspective on life. I saw it one of the opening weekends and I haven’t been the same since.
I was completely engaged with each character and found that I could relate to each one in some way, which was unexpected. She displays her inner most feelings and thoughts in such a graceful way that makes you realize, wow, we are all already well.
It’s refreshing to see someone brave enough to take secret thoughts and insecurities to the stage in front of strangers. Joke’s on us, because she knows we ALL have those doubts, fears, and insecurities.
It’s raw. It’s real. It’s the truth. It’ll make you wanna smile, dance, and hug someone afterwards!
